Anna Panek

Malarka i architektka, absolwentka Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Wrocławskiej i Wydziału Malarstwa Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie. Stypendystka Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego, finalistka konkursu Samsung Art Master. Tworzy obrazy, murale, instalacje powiązane z architekturą. W jej działaniach artystycznych obie dziedziny sztuki są zestawione, a czasami przeciwstawione sobie. Dla Anny Panek architektura stanowi ramę, zdyscyplinowaną, kulturowo określoną formą, natomiast malarstwo jest pierwotne i dzikie, należy do porządku natury. Może swobodnie się rozprzestrzeniać, anektować, zacierać lub przemieniać fizyczne struktury.
Artystka mówi „Interesuje mnie nadmiar istniejący w przyrodzie, jej żywotność, strach jaki budzi w stanie pierwotnym. A sam proces malowania to jak ćwiczenie instynktu, odwoływanie się do niego jako podstawowej reakcji na świat, wewnętrznego zbioru wspólnego wszystkim ludziom.”
Jej prace wystawiane były m.in. w Galerii Arsenał w Białymstoku, w CSW Zamek Ujazdowski w Warszawie, Zachęcie - Narodowej Galerii Sztuki w Warszawie, Muzeum Narodowym w Gdańsku, Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie. Prace artystki znajdują się w kolekcjach m.in. Banku Polskiego oraz Muzeum Narodowego w Gdańsku. Współpracuje z Galerią lokal_30. Mieszka i pracuje w Warszawie.


Painter and architect, graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology and the Faculty of Painting
at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Recipient of a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage,
finalist of the Samsung Art Master competition. She creates paintings, murals, installations related to architecture.
In her artistic activities, both disciplines of art are compared and sometimes contrasted.
Her works have been exhibited at the Arsenal Gallery in Białystok, the Ujazdowski Castle CCA in Warsaw,
the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, the National Museum in Gdańsk, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
The artist’s works can be found in the collections of the Polish Bank and the National Museum in Gdańsk, among others.
She works with the lokal_30 Gallery. The artist currently lives and works in Warsaw.
